The reputation of the Goffs Orby Sale as a source of stakes winners received yet another boost when Titus Mills (IRE) won the Listed Peter Willet Stakes at Goodwood on Tuesday. The Brian Meehan trained juvenile is now unbeaten in two starts and Meehan holds him in high regard, commenting; “He's a proper horse with a big future and we think a lot of him." Titus Mills races for the Sangster Family and he was bought in the Orby Sale last year by John Best for €65,000. He was bred by the Irish National Stud who will offer a Dalakhani half sister (lot 33) to the winner in this years sale on 28th September. Titus Mills’ dam Anayid, an un-raced daughter of AP Indy has a 100% record at stud, producing three winners from three foals.
