Goffs will offer a limited number of quality horses in training for auction at the end of day 1 of the Land Rover Sale next week. This new addition to Goffs’ flagship National Hunt Sale will provide a ready made market place for horses with recent form at a sale that is already attended by most major Irish and UK buyers.
Goffs Chief Executive Henry Beeby commented; “Following the success of our recent Punchestown Festival Sale, a select HIT sale in conjunction with the Land Rover is a logical step forward. We feel this new opportunity will offer a strong platform for this type of horse as they will be highlighted to a captive audience already at Goffs for the Land Rover Sale." The Land Rover Sale takes place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th June and the Horses In Training section will take place on Thursday evening. A separate supplementary catalogue will be available online.
In the USA yesterday, Goffs Foal Sale graduate Ryehill Dreamer (IRE) won the Grade 2 American Handicap at Hollywood Park. The Kilfrush Stud bred son of Catcher In The Rye won a Listed race in Ireland for Tommy Stack as a 2yo and was originally bought as a foal in Goffs for €26,000.
