First season stallion Heliostatic sired his first winner when Crius (IRE) landed a 2yo maiden at Warwick last week for trainer Richard Hannon. After the race the trainer described the winner as: “a little green, so should come on for this”. “He’s the type to make a nice horse over a mile plus next season.” Crius was bred by the Fitzsimons family’s Oak Lodge Stud, which is also where Heliostatic stands. Heliostatic is Group 3 winning son of Galileo and a full brother to Irish Derby winner Soldier Of Fortune. He stands for a covering fee of €5,000.
