GOFFS PUNCHESTOWN SALE CATALOGUE CONFIRMED

Goffs have confirmed their catalogue for the Punchestown Sale which is due to be held after racing on Thursday 26th April. In addition to the horses announced last week, there have been several new additions from this week’s point-to-point action.

In total there are 16 Lots catalogued:

SHAKADAME, a winner and placed on all six career starts in France.

I’M HERE (IRE), an eye-catching point-to-point winner at Kirkstown on the first time asking for handler George Stewart.

LORD SPRINGFIELD (IRE), a five-year-old son of Well Chosen won a point-to-point at Stradbally in April on his first start for handler James Fahey.

IMPATIENT PARTNER (IRE), the winner of a bumper in Cork at the beginning of April for Noel Meade. The five-year-old is a son of Gold Well, also the sire of Irish Grand National winner General Principle (IRE).

SERIOUS EGO, a five-year-old winning point-to-point half-brother to a Listed performer.

AT THE ACORN (IRE) was the smart winner of a four-year-old maiden, winning by an impressive eight lengths for Edward O’Grady.

NEEDHAM’S GAP (IRE), the four-year-old son of Flemensfirth looked a high-class racecourse prospect when winning on his debut at Courtown for Donnchadh Doyle.

AGUSTA GOLD (IRE) was an impressive six length winner of a bumper at Tramore on her debut for Mags Mullins.

QUOI DE NEUF won a maiden easily at Ballysteen. The four-year-old gelding is a half-brother to Grade 3 winner Qualando.

LE CHEVAL NOIR(IRE) won a competitive four-year-old maiden at Dromahane.

DANNY WHIZZBANG (IRE), the five-year-old son of Getaway won a maiden at Ballysteen on just his second start. He is a half-brother to a Listed winner over hurdles.

LECALE’S ARTICLE (IRE), the winner is a high quality field at Largy makes him an exciting prospect.

SOUTHERN SAM, an eye-catching runner-up to Needham’s Gap (IRE) at Courtown.

HONEYSUCKLE put in a fantastic performance to win at Dromahane. The four-year-old mare is the daughter of a dual Listed performer. 

CHAMPAGNE WELL (IRE) a five-year-old son of Gold Well, won a point-to-point in fine style at Rathcannon for handler Roisin Hickey.

WILD POLLY (IRE) kept on well to win a four-year-old maiden at Largy for handler Ashleigh Murphy.

The horses will be sold with a pre-sale veterinary certificate for which the examination will be held on Wednesday 25th April at Goffs. The horses will be available for inspection on Thursday morning at Goffs and on Thursday afternoon at Punchestown.
