ORDER OF ST GEORGE (IRE) took centre stage at Leopardstown on Friday where he won the Listed Saval Beg Stakes for the third successive year. The Ballydoyle stalwart tracked leaders in the initial stages of the race and executing round the home turn the odds-on favourite travelled easily to the front, staying on well to score by three quarters of a length from Twilight Payment (IRE).


All roads now lead to the Group 1 Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, which his trainer Aidan O'Brien has stated is his first major target for the season. The son of Galileo (IRE) was recording his 13th victory, eight of which were in Pattern company.


Bred by Paget Bloodstock he is an own brother to the Group 3 placed Kellstorm (IRE), and a half-brother to the Group 3 winner in the US Angel Terraceand the French Group 3 winner Asperity. They are out of the winning race mare Another Storm.
