Unlike traditional yearling auctions, breeze-up sales offer a rare glimpse into a young thoroughbred’s athletic potential. Each horse “breezes” (gallops at speed) over a short distance, typically two furlongs, giving prospective buyers tangible evidence of stride, balance, and temperament.
